The CN0152 / CN0153 drives are for use with most size 23 and size 34 step motors. They are compensated for mid-band instability, allowing reliable operation at full power at all speeds. Because mid-band instability is suppressed, full motor torque is available for driving your load.
A wide power supply voltage and phase current range allows you to easily tailor the CN0152 / CN0153 to your application. A unique "fill" circuit smoothly transitions from half stepping at low speeds to full stepping at high speeds to extract the maximum power from your motor.
An all n-channel MOSFET output stage and a low power consumption circuit design minimizes power drive dissipation. A power supply voltage proportional switching frequency minimizes ripple current caused losses in the motor. Switching can be disabled entirely without losing position when the motor is stopped to eliminate all motor heating.
Robust circuit design and an epoxy encapsulated package results in a reliable and rugged step motor drive.
