The CN0121 is a 4 quadrant (bi-directional) speed control designed for use with low voltage DC permanent magnet motors. Motor speed can be regulated to a 2% accuracy over a 50 to 1 speed range. The CN0121 will maintain motor speed whether the motor is driving the load or is being overdriven by it.

The CN0121 features inverting and non-inverting inputs and a fixed gain of 28. A 1 volt differential input voltage will drive your motor to full speed in either direction when used with a 28 volt power supply.

Maximum motor current can be limited to any value between 0 to 5 Amps using an external ¼ watt resistor. This protects your motor from damage should it be stalled.

The CN0121 has multi-turn trimpot for speed regulation adjustment. IR compensation allows motor and wiring resistance to be trimmed out for accurate speed regulation.
